As was recently announced, Harunaga Isaacson and Francesco Sferra are currently engaged in working on the Sekanirdeśapañjikā, a never before published commentary by Rāmapāla on the Sekanirdeśa (also called Sekanirdeśa) of his teacher Advayavajra (Maitreya/Maitrīpa).
A critical edition of the Sanskrit text of this important but difficult work, transmitted in two manuscripts, is being prepared, together with a critical edition of the Tibetan translation, and an annotated English translation. The Sekanirdeśa itself will also be newly edited.
The resulting monograph is expected to be published as a volume of Manuscripta Buddhica, a new subseries of the Serie Orientale Roma.
