Camillo Formigatti studied classical philology at Università degli Studi di Milano from 1996 to 2000. He received his M.A. for his thesis ‘L’episodio di Udrāyaṇa nel quarantunesimo capitolo dell’Avadānakalpalatā di Kṣemendra’.
From 2000 to 2003 he was a participant in the Socrates/Erasmus Project at Phillips-Universität Marburg, and from 2005 to 2007 he was a recipient of Università degli Studi di Milano’s scholarship for studies abroad while at Marburg.
